Ready for the King

Scripture: "Every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." – 1 John 3:3 (KJV)
Biblical hope does not make us careless; it makes us ready. If we truly expect the King, we allow His light to search every room of our lives. His coming is not a license to delay obedience; IT IS A LOVING CALL TO HOLINESS. Ask the Spirit today: Is there a habit I must surrender, a relationship I must repair, a confession I must make, or a step of obedience I keep postponing? Do not answer with condemnation. The One who calls you to readiness is also the One who gives grace to begin again. Sweep the rooms of your heart, not to earn His love, but because you already belong to Him. Choose integrity when no one is watching. Forgive quickly. Keep your conscience tender. The King may come at an unexpected hour, but a heart surrendered to Jesus never has to fear being unprepared.
Prayer: Father, purify my heart and make me ready for Jesus. Give me courage to obey promptly and grace to walk in holiness today. Amen.
